I kind of dislike the entire gender bent side. Fiona,Cake, and monochromicorn are probably the only bearable characters I’ve seen so far. Marshal Lee and Prince Gumball make me a bit irritated. I like to pretend that universe doesn’t exist.

same. fiona is cute and seems fun but still like…… the episode i remember most vividly (i dont know how many there are? i might have only seen one) still managed to have the entire thing focused on a romantic plot involving her and (folding arms) Gee, Thats Predictable

also, the fact they just like….. have her in a skirt and made her Shapely and gave her breasts and stuff is soooo boring like cmon. cmon. this is all tired junk and im bored of it. shes 14

The huge issue I had with Fiona is the ridiculously short skirt she was wearing.  I am all about women being able to wear what they want, and do what they want, but I was kind of squicked out by the sexualization they had of her.

Romantically driven plot, bunny ears, short as fuck skirt,  breasts and hips… Meh.   It left much to be desired— even if at the end they had her saying she didn’t need a boyfriend at the moment it came off…. weird.

They also have it as fanfiction by the Ice King, which may be making fun of the genderbent fandom or the concept in general… But it is still my least favourite.   Mostly I feel alone on that.

o-zabethy said: This depends— what kind of animation are you looking for?

Well, I’m looking for anything people can suggest honestly XD. I’m just doing research into some good examples of diverse character casts with good representation of different kinds of people and well-developed girl main characters. I’m MAINLY focusing on tv animated shows, but I’m looking at feature length animation and (sometimes) shorts as well.

In no particular order: Daria, The Wild Thornberries, Revolutionary Girl Utena, Mulan, Pepper-Anne Cowboy Bebop, Noir, Serial Experiments: Lain, Nana, Brave, Shrek, Wreck it Ralph, How to Train Your Dragon (the movie and the TV series), Atlantis the Lost Empire, Titan A.E., Tarzan, The Black Cauldron, The Incredibles,  Sailor Moon, Madoka, Anything by Studio Ghibli, Adventure Time, The Power Puff Girls, Gravity Falls, Burst Angel, Soul Eater, As told by Ginger, My Life as a Teenage Robot, Rocket Power, Avatar (Legend of Aang, and of Korra), Recess, Sabrina the Teenage Witch (the animated series), Kim Possible, The Proud Family, Lilo and Stitch, Totally Spies, The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, Teen Titans — However Teen Titans GO! is really sexist and irritating from what I’ve seen.

I am sure there are more that I am not remembering, if I remember I will let you know :D
